Resilient Runner Series

An Eight-Week Series for Healthier Running

About the Program

This eight-part running series is designed by Doctors of Physical Therapy to assist you in gaining the tools and knowledge to address early-stage running hurdles while overcoming physical impairments, as well as the fear, anxiety, and uncertainty that can come with running programs.

Oriented around the prevention and post-rehabilitation of common running-related injuries, this program aims to optimize the longevity and success of your running career. Participate in a variety of running-oriented assessments that touch upon strength, flexibility, mobility, balance, and body mechanics testing metrics to discover and learn how to address impairments that might be limiting your running abilities.

Whether new to running, working on staying healthy, or returning after an injury. You'll benefit from a new understanding of your physical abilities and an expanded ability to make positive changes to confidently hit the ground running.

About Us

Sean Colaco

PT, DPT

Inspired by personal running injuries, Sean started his quest to become a physical therapist while competing in Track and Cross Country and studying at UCLA. He went on to obtain his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Concordia University, Saint Paul. As a lifelong runner, Sean has worked to incorporate his love for running into his physical therapy career and was inspired to create this Resilient Running Series to help people get back to running, just as PT had once done for him. Outside the clinic, Sean is an avid rock climber, runner, hiker, camper, and a classic Seattle "outdoor enthusiast." When Sean isn't treating patients, you can find him out in the mountains, often fruitlessly trying to tire out his dog Olive.
